We feel that it is very important to follow up with the children after they leave Birmingham and return to their life in Ukraine.  Through our contacts in Ukraine we are able to communicate with them and stay informed of their well-being.   Each trip, we also visit the special needs orphanage to play with the children and oversee our diaper ministry there.  We strive for 3 trips each year; one each in the fall and spring and a third one in the summer to lead a Bible camp in the region.   It is our desire to come alongside our brothers and sisters in Ukraine currently serving these orphanages so that we can determine how better to assist them in their mission there.
